U11-U18 Competitive Teams

In an effort to recruit, educate and prepare elite players for our most competitive teams the Rapids Academy will field teams starting at Under 11 through Under 18.
There will be an informational meeting for the U11-U14 Competitive Teams on May 19th at 7:30pm on the press level at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. The press level entrance is located next to Gate G on the west side of the stadium.
Due to multiple conflicts on the holiday this weekend, the meeting previously scheduled for May 11th has been cancelled. If you are unable to attend the meeting on May 19th, please feel free to stop by the Academy office during the Rapids home game on Thursday, May 15th.
It is not mandatory to register for tryouts, but it is encouraged as this information will be used for staffing and evaluation purposes.
For the fall of 2008 the Rapids Soccer Academy will form:
- One – U11 Boys Team
- One – U12 Boys Team
- One – U11/12 Boys Team
- One – U13 Boys Team
- One – U13/14 Boys Team
- One – U15/16 Team for Spring competition
- One - U17/18 Team for Spring competition

Notes:
Players will pay registration and club fees similar to those of the other top clubs in the area.
U11-U14 teams will begin training in the summer and will compete in the fall and spring seasons of Colorado Youth Soccer’s State League.
U11-U14 teams will train and play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. In an effort to ensure that players are placed in an environment that promotes overall development, most players selected for these teams should reside within 30 miles of Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
U16 and 18 teams will be formed in the fall for competition in the spring of ‘09. These teams will play in the CYS State League and will be run in conjunction with our Development Academy teams in these age groups.
U16 and U18 teams will also train and play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
