The Colorado Rapids have several programs and opportunities for our youngest fans that run year-round! Check out some of the club's kids-specific activities and special events below!
Colorado Rapids Recess Program
The Colorado Rapids annually make visits to elementary schools within the Denver Metro area between the months of January-April and August-October to educate kids on the fundamentals of soccer.
The Rapids' Recess program involves the club bringing Rapids players out to school locations for the players to speak with elementary school students about staying healthy through the integration of academics and soccer.

Rapids “Runnin' With the Rapids” Youth Soccer Clinics:
Throughout the 2009 season, Colorado Rapids players will travel around the metro Denver area to work with youth soccer players !
Rapids players will work with the team's coaches and players to go over basic skills and drills, enabling the kids to interact with their favorite Rapids superstars and to become familiar with the Rapids game!
Entry fees to the clinic usually also include a free Rapids ticket to a home game!

Take a Field Trip through the Rapids:
The Colorado Rapids Field Trip Program offers kids a unique experience inside summer’s hottest game!
Rapids Field Trips include an exclusive tour of Dick's Sporting Goods Park, an autograph session with a Rapids player, a visit by one of the Rapids' mascots, and a voucher good for a free ticket to a Rapids home game! Price per child is contingent on group size.
JUST ADDED! Due to overwhelming demand field trips are being extended into September and October! Dates in September and October are going quickly so call the field trip hotline at 303.727.3541 to reserve your school's date NOW!

Rapids "Kicks For Kids" Program
The Colorado Rapids annually offer the club's "Kicks For Kids" program, which gives needy and underserved children the chance to attend Rapids home game for free thanks to generous contributions from the club's corporate partners!

Soccer Camps, Clinics, and Skills Sessions
The Colorado Rapids Soccer Academy is the #1 resource in the Rocky Mountain Region for youth soccer players!
The Rapids Academy offers numerous soccer camps and programs year-round on the fields complex at Dick's Sporting Goods Park for kids of all ages and abilities.
All camps and programs are run by the Colorado Rapids players and coaches, and provide the best soccer instruction and opportunities in the state.
