Chris Litt
Head Athletic Trainer
Chris Litt begins his first season with the Rapids coming to the team from the Colorado Crush, where he served in the same capacity for the last two years. As the Rapids’ head athletic trainer, Chris is responsible for all aspects of athletic training and medical care of the team including evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of athletic injuries.
Chris worked as a seasonal assistant athletic trainer during the 2005 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars before moving to Colorado. Prior to his NFL experience, he served as the head athletic trainer for the men’s basketball team and assistant football athletic trainer for Jacksonville University from 2004-2005. His experience also includes working with the San Diego Chargers and Padres.
Chris began his career in athletic training working with Chula Vista High School football program and all student sports at Horizon High School in San Diego, Ca.
A graduate of San Diego State University, he earned his bachelors of science in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training in 2002. Chris and his wife, Shadaya, have two daughters: Adaischa and Aalani.
