Craig Magri

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Craig Magri, now in his second season with the Colorado Rapids as the team’s assistant athletic trainer, graduated from San Diego State in 1994 with a degree in athletic training. Since then he has been a volunteer trainer for one season with the San Diego Gulls, a minor league ice hockey team, and spent two years as head athletic trainer of the San Diego Barracudas of the now-defunct Professional Roller Hockey League. He then spent four years at a prominent physical therapy center in San Francisco that treated athletes from some of California’s professional teams.

Magri is completing his fourth year with the Colorado Mammoth as athletic trainer for the National Lacrosse League team. He lives in Denver with his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Danielle and Tony.
