Craig Magri
Assistant Athletic Trainer
2009 will mark Craig Magri’s fifth season as assistant athletic trainer for the Colorado Rapids. He has also been the head athletic trainer for the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League for seven years.
Craig Magri graduated from San Diego State in 1994 with a degree in athletic training. Since then he has been a volunteer trainer for one season with the San Diego Gulls, a minor league ice hockey team, and spent two years as head athletic trainer of the San Diego Barracudas of the now-defunct Professional Roller Hockey League. He then spent four years at a prominent physical therapy center in San Francisco that treated athletes from some of California’s professional teams.
Magri lives in Denver with his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Danielle and Tony.
