Bio:
A Fort Collins, Colorado native, Colin Clark anchors the Rapids left-sided attack. One of the most dangerous young talents at his position, he will look to regain the form that has seen him set new career highs in goals and assists in 2008 and 2009 after suffering a season ending knee injury last season. Clark earned his first U.S. National Team cap on July 11, 2009 against Honduras.

Started in 16 games this season, playing 1,421 minutes and had 3 goals and a new single season career-high 5 assists…T-3rd in game-winning assists (3)…Suffered a torn ACL in his left knee on August 11 and missed the remainder of the season…Scored vs. D.C. Earned first-ever National Team cap getting the start and playing 76 minutes against Honduras (7/11)...Named to U.S. National Team roster for CONCACAF Gold Cup matches from July 3-26...Participated in training camp with the U.S. Men’s National team in November 2008 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.

Named the 2009 U.S. Soccer Foundation Rapids Humanitarian of the Year, as the Rapids player who has most volunteered his time and efforts off the pitch and who has led the way amongst his teammates in giving back to our local community...Took home the Rapids’ 2007 “Most Improved Player Award”, as the Rapids player who has shown the most marked improvement over the course of the season, his first-ever player award with the club…Was born and grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, playing his high school soccer locally for Fort Collins High School…Clark was invited to try out for the AC Milan youth system when he was in high school.
