Rapids Academy

The Colorado Rapids Soccer Academy is "The Pathway to the Pros"!

The Rapids Academy was created in an effort to develop local homegrown talent, and nurture players from Colorado to progress through several age and skill levels of the club in a true international club-style feeder system, all the way from youth teams directly up to the first team of the Colorado Rapids.

The Rapids Academy consists of both the youth teams of the Colorado Rapids, as well as several camps that are run by the Rapids each year.

The Rapids Academy's curriculum was created and is overseen by Rapids Assistant Coach & Director of Player Development John Murphy, and all the camps of the Academy are run by the Rapids players and coaches.

The Rapids Academy's various camps, designed for kids ages 5-18, concluded a successful 2007 season with over 1,000 participants!

The 2007 Academy camps included a Goalkeeper Camp, Development Camp, Training Center, Kickin’ Kids Camp, High School Boys’ Team Camp and a an Invitation Only Summit Select Camp. The 2007 camps will also be available in 2008, along with Overnight Mini Camps and Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Camps.
