Warning: The following has nothing to do with the Rapids, or soccer. Well, I guess it might, since the former Denver Nuggets guard, Allen Iverson, did end up getting a contract offer to play pro soccer (STORY).

On Saturday, an estimated 200,000 people are expected to attend and participate in the 50th Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and they’ll see some burgundy floating down Blake Street amidst the green.
The Rapids, Edson the Eagle and the Scion-sponsored Rapids Ride will cruise through the streets of downtown Denver, giving out various gifts and goodies along the way. Fans and spectators are encouraged to look for the Street Team as they pass by and sing along with your favorite supporters chants.

OMAR CUMMINGS TALKS RAPIDS WITH NATE AND CHAD
In 17 days, the Colorado Rapids will kick off their 2012 season at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. With the season quickly approaching, Season Ticket Holders can expect to receive their Flash Seats or hard tickets in the mail. Flash Seats were sent out last week via email, and hard tickets will be sent at the end of this week. All Full Season Ticket Holders will also be receiving their Welcome Packet in the coming weeks, which include: parking passes, important benefit and contact information and a letter from Rapids President Tim Hinchey. Kickback Cards will only be mailed to new 2012 Season Ticket Holders, but if your card has been lost or stolen please contact your Customer Service Representative at 303.727.3414.
Remember that if you purchase, renew or upgrade to a 2012 Full Season package before March 1st your name will be featured on the Colorado Rapids 2013 home kits, as part of the ONE CLUB initiative announced earlier this year.
