MLSsoccer.com is celebrating Supporters Week, with a wide array of articles and videos honoring fans. Not lost among that is that players themselves are fans.

Pablo Mastroeni, New England's Benny Feilhaber, and Philadelphia's Zac MacMath list former Rapids midfielder Carlos Valderrama as their favorite MLS player of all-time. Other's list Brian McBride as their favorite. Who is your all-time favorite MLS player - tell us in the comments?

Warning: The following has nothing to do with the Rapids, or soccer. Well, I guess it might, since the former Denver Nuggets guard, Allen Iverson, did end up getting a contract offer to play pro soccer (STORY).

In a light of the full Rapids roster having Tuesday off from 'practice,' here's possibly one of the best "practice" interviews in sports history. This clip below happened 10 years ago yesterday. Remember it?

Drew Moor has always shared how proud he is to be from Dallas, and to have played for FC Dallas - the team he followed since he was a kid. And the fans of FC Dallas have always appreciated Drew's play and how he's treated and respected them...and how he fought for the jersey during his time there.

"A lot of friends who supported me when I played for Dallas and continue to support me even when I play with the Rapids, so it's a special place," he said after he captained the Rapids to a 2-0 win over Dallas on Sunday. "I played in over a hundred games here for FC Dallas and it will always be a special place for me. A big part of my heart stays here. It makes it that much sweeter to finally get three points here."

Last year, one of Drew's former Dallas teammates and good friend, Bobby Rhine, shockingly passed away at a young age. Saddened by the news, Drew wrote his feeling down and shared them on the site (CLICK HERE).

Bobby was also adored by the hometown faithful. On Sunday, in his return to Dallas, Drew went to greet members of FCD's supporters group, The Inferno, and took a moment to honor his fallen friend at the sign the fans hang his honor:

Some of Wells Thompson's life story has been well documented. From the time his parents intervened to help get him off drugs, to his faith and missionary work, to his recent marriage to long-time girlfriend, Daphne. Altitude TV recently visited the Thompson's place in Colorado, where they raise chickens and ducks, and recently made another addition to their family, River. Early in Friday's training session, assistant coach Paul Caffrey had the guys doing ladder exercises as part of warmups. As usual, they had a competive element to them, this time each row racing the others. All was going well until one guy gets caught in the ladder...and that was it was for warm ups.

Talking to Edu yesterday after he officially signed with the Rapids, he told me some stories of his time playing in Spain's La Liga. His best memory was the last time he played against Thierry Henry, when he was at Barcelona and Edu at Real Betis. Barca had taken a two-goal lead, but Real Betis mounted a historic comeback to win 3-2.

Edu told me about the two goals he scored, but not about the missed PK. Check out highlights of that match below (you might have to adjust the audio by moving Speaker icon at bottom of video player):

Tommy Newbold, 23, is a primary school teacher that lives in Kenilworth, a small town just outside of Coventry, which is north of London. Given his location, he is a Coventry City fan.

But Tom is also a Colorado Rapids fan and uses the twitter handle @MLS_Rapids_UK to communicated and interact with fellow burgundy-loving fans.

An active twitter user, on Tuesday Tom tweeted that his brother, a Chelsea season ticket holders, had gotten two tickets to the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal between Chelsea and Barcelona. They flew to Spain in the morning and were at the Nou Camp to watch Chelsea eliminate the powerful Spanish side 3-2 on aggregate and advance to the Champions League final.

And, amidst the home Barcelona fans and traveling Chelsea supporters, Tom brought out the Colorado Rapids burgundy jersey!

Tom has written a couple of articles on the Rapids for an MLS fan site across the pond called http://ukmajorleaguesoccer.com/.

Last month, he gave ColoradoRapidsFan.com a little more insight on how he became a Rapids fan, and the lengths he goes through to stay up on the team while in England. Give Tom a follow on twitter, and CLICK HERE FOR HIS STORY, IN HIS WORDS:
