Rapids on TV and Radio in 2013
TELEVISION: Colorado Rapids matches for the 2013 season are broadcast regionally on Altitude TV, which will air 29 of the 34 regular season matches in high definition. The remaining five matches will be broadcast nationally on the NBC Sports Network. Also, national Spanish-language sports outlet, Unimas, will carry two Rapids matches.
Veteran English broadcaster Richard Fleming joining Rapids legend Marcelo Balboa on the call for Rapids matches in 2013 on Altitude TV.
Most live matches on Altitude TV will include a special half-hour Rapids Kickoff pre-match show, and all home games will feature a Rapids Locker Room Report post-match show. Julie Browman, Kyle Keefe, Blake Olson, and Maya Starks will contribute regular reports throughout the season.
New in 2013 will also be a special Rapids Report mid-week show, with news and features on everything from Rapids players to youth soccer from around the state of Colorado. New shows will run several times in March and April, and will become a weekly fixture on Altitude starting in May and running through the end of the 2013 season. RADIO: All 34 Rapids regular season matches air locally in English on Mile High Sports Radio AM 1510 or 93.7 FM and in Spanish on AM 1150 La Onda with Esdrel Peinado.
