Carlos Garcia returns to the Colorado Rapids for his 10th season with the team after spending the previous six years working for the Los Angeles Galaxy. Garcia, who became a United States citizen in 1986 after moving to Los Angeles from his native Guatemala, holds a U.S.S.F. “B” Coaching License and most recently completed the course for his U.S.S.F “A” Coaching License.
In addition to his duties as an equipment manager in Los Angeles, Garcia also coached boys aged 5-14, a pursuit that he currently continues in Colorado. Garcia and his wife, Josefa, live in Denver and have two daughters, Dulce and Elaine Victoria, and one son, Enrique Bosco Garcia.
