Dominic Sisneros joins the Special Olympics Rapids Unified soccer team again this year. The 21-year-old from Denver has been participating in Special Olympics for 15 years.
Sisneros also plays basketball, tennis, track and field, flag football, martial arts and bowling. His most proud accomplishment was graduating from Kennedy High School. He currently works at Atlantis Community Center.
Sisneros says Special Olympics has given him the confidence to try new things and to engage socially with people in the community.
He enjoys social events with friends and listening to music. His favorite players are goalie Matt Pickens and midfielder Tony Cascio.
