Tonya Swikert of Denver is joining the Special Olympics Rapids Unified team as a partner. The University of Tennessee graduate is currently employed as a nanny in Denver. She is proud to help raise a thoughtful, kind, happy four-year-old girl.
Swikert has coached Special Olympics for three years. “It has added pure joy and laughter to my life. These athletes and coaches are kind-hearted people that are fun to be around,” she says.
In addition to soccer, Swikert enjoys drawing, sculpting and photography.
