The Colorado Rapids Community Ambassadors are past Major League Soccer players and coaches who make special appearances in classrooms and at a variety of community events and organizations across the Denver metro area.
From kindergarten to high school, the Community Ambassadors reach out to students by encouraging them to embrace learning, respect others, value good sportsmanship, and practice to achieve excellence.
Former Colorado Rapids player and MLS Cup champion Brian Mullan currently serves as a Community Ambassador for the Rapids organization. Outside of coaching, Brian participates in public speaking, supports numerous philanthropic organizations/causes, and serves in the area of community outreach. Mullan also works with area youth, while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork and the game of soccer among the state’s various youth leagues.
Requests for a Community Ambassador appearance at clinics, school assemblies, and community events can be arranged through the online Community Ambassador Request Form. Contact Caitlin Kinser to discuss in more detail.
