Rapids Rookie For a Day

The Colorado Rapids are proud to announce the Rapids Rookie for a Day program. This program is open to students throughout the state of Colorado who are "quality kids," but are frequently overlooked because they are not extraordinary in any particular endeavor. The program recognizes students who are well-rounded representatives of your school and community. All nominees must demonstrate the following:
- Soccer Experience
- Good Behavior
- Positive Attitude
- Good Citizenship
- Community Involvement (i.e. tutoring, community service projects, volunteer work or a unique home situation such as caring for younger siblings or grandparents, etc.)
The winners will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience of what a day in the life of a Rapids player is really like. Each winner will have the opportunity to:
- Attend a Rapids Practice
- Receive Team Merchandise
- Receive Recognition during Attended Game
- Receive a $250 Savings Bond
- Receive 4 Tickets to One of the following Rapids Games:

Nominations for the 2011 season are closed. Thank you for your interest in the Rapids Rookie for a Day program. Please visit the Rapids website in March 2012 to nominate a child for the 2012 Rapids Rookie for a Day.
We will select a total of 10 winners (two winners to receive tickets and recognized at each Rapids games listed above) throughout the season nominated by only a teacher or soccer coach and notify them by phone.
