The Colorado Rapids Unified Team ended their season on August 29th after their home match against Kansas City. They ended in a draw (2-2) by scoring in the final minute of the match.
Rapids SOCO kicked off their annual fourth season when they traveled to Kansas City on Saturday, May 16th. They defeated Kansas City 3-2 after the game was postponed until Sunday morning after inclement weather postponed all Saturday activities – including the Rapids first team match.
The partnership is a program that provides unique training, competitions and social experiences for not only individuals with intellectual disabilities but for everyone involved.
Through the generosity of the Kroenke Sports Charities’ Teammates for Kids program, in addition to financial and in-kind support from Dick’s Sporting Goods, Coca-Cola, adidas, Cardel Homes and the Colorado Rapids, 20 athletes and coaches from Colorado will have the opportunity to engage with the Rapids in a one-of-a-kind experience.
