Leagues Cup 2025
After two hugely successful editions of Leagues Cup, a World Cup-style tournament sanctioned by Concacaf between Major League Soccer and Liga MX teams, 2025's tournament sports a refreshed look at the North American competition.
This year, Leagues Cup will feature exclusively interleague matches between MLS and Liga MX clubs through the quarterfinals. The tournament will also be split into Phase One and the Knockout Rounds, deviating from 2023 and 2024's Group Stage and Knockout Stage format.
From July 29 to August 31, the tournament will host games at MLS stadiums throughout the U.S. and Canada. In Phase One, Colorado will host Santos Laguna and Tijuana at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park before traveling to Dignity Health Sports Park to take on Cruz Azul.
