  • *New England won their only home game to date, defeating Toronto 4-1 on April 10 behind three goals from rookie forward Zach Schilawski.
  • *Several players are set to face off against their former sides on Saturday; midfielders Wells Thompson and Jeff Larentowicz will face New England for the first time since being acquired by Colorado in January, while Revs players Preston Burpo, Nico Colaluca and Cory Gibbs all have traded in their burgundy for New England kits.
  • *The Revolution's other off-season moves involved the release of veteran leader Steve Ralston, the retirement of defender Jay Heaps, and the departure of Chris Albright.
  • *New England are coming off a 2-0 loss to San Jose last weekend. They were without influential midfielder Shalrie Joseph for the third time in four games due to a hip flexor strain, and continue to be without star forward Taylor Twellman who is still out with concussion symptoms. Another key player in years past, goalkeeper Matt Reis, is still out while rehabbing from off-season surgery. Marko Perovic made his MLS debut Saturday in a withdrawn forward role.
  • *Did You Know: Rapids forward Conor Casey's last six goals have all come on penalty kicks: all three this season, plus the final three tallies of his 16-goal campaign last year. From September 1999 to July 2000, LA Galaxy defender Greg Vanney scored six straight goals all from PKs.
