Rapids Acquire Haitian Midfielder Alexandre Boucicaut as Developmental Player From Chicago Fire

DENVER CO (Thursday September 15 2005) – The Colorado Rapids acquired today Haitian midfielder Alexandre Boucicaut from the Chicago Fire in exchange for the Black and Blue's Fourth Round Selection in the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft.

This selection was acquired by Colorado from FC Dallas in a previous transaction.

Boucicaut (pronounced "BOO-see-KOH") will occupy the Developmental Roster spot left after the team waived midfielder Marcus Sagastume earlier in the day.
