Rapids Duo Tabbed for International Duty

COMMERCE CITY CO (Wednesday October 8 2008) – The Colorado Rapids have had two players called up to their respective national teams for international fixture dates.
Bouna Coundoul has been chosen by Senegal for their World Cup Qualifier this Saturday October 11 against Gambia. The goalkeeper has earned two caps for the Lions of Teranga including one in the African Cup of Nations earlier this year.
Forward Omar Cummings has been called in again by Jamaica for their World Cup qualifiers against Mexico this Saturday October 11 and vs. Honduras four days later. Cummings has already earned two caps for the Reggae Boys earlier this year.
Both players will miss the Rapids' upcoming match against LA this Sunday but should return before the team’s second road trip to Los Angeles the following weekend to take on Chivas USA on October 19.
