Rapids KSE Create Own In-House Ticketing System

DENVER (KSE Official Release)– Kroenke Sports Enterprises will bring single game and event ticket sales in-house for some of its venues including downtown Denver’s Paramount Theatre and the new Dick’s Sporting Goods Park with the launch of TicketHorse in March.
The 2007 season of Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer matches including the 2007 Major League Soccer All-Star Game will be the first set of events to go on sale using the in-house system. The Rapids’ season begins April 7 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park a stadium that holds 18000 for sporting events and up to 27000 for concerts. Concerts at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park will soon follow. Concerts taking place at the Paramount Theatre after July 1 also will be sold through the in-house system.

TicketHorse.com box office operations and telephone sales (866.461.6556) will be operational March 10. Customer operated touch-screen kiosks will be located in metro Denver Dick’s Sporting Goods stores starting March 31 with additional locations to be added.

Internet orders will be taken at DicksSportingGoodsPark.com and ParamountDenver.com for shows at each venue as well as through TicketHorse.com. The computerized ticketing system and Internet platform is powered by Dallas-based Vertical Alliance which will also handle initial call center support.

Events at Pepsi Center and CityLights Pavilion will continue to be ticketed by Ticketmaster.
