Rapids Select Three Players in 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft

DENVER CO (Colorado Rapids Media Relations)- The Colorado Rapids added three players to their 2005 roster in today's 2005 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft.

With their first selection in the draft (7th overall) the Black and Blue selected forward Sasha Gotsmanov from the University of Rhode Island.

With the team’s second selection (31st overall) Clavijo drafted Ugandan forward Eugene Sepuya from Alabama A&M.

With the Rapids’ last selection of the day (43rd overall) the team drafted defender Dan Gargan from Georgetown University.

Gotsmanov Sepuya and Gargan are all expected to join up with the Rapids on their preseason Spring Training tour in either Ecuador or Miami in the next few weeks.
