Seats Selling Quickly For Next Week's Kickoff Luncheon!
DENVER (ColoradoRapids.com) – The Colorado Rapids Community Care Foundation today announced that seats are selling quickly but are still available for the charity's 7th Annual Rapids Kickoff Luncheon which will take place from noon-1:30pm at the Ridgeline Restaurant in the Pepsi Center on Tuesday April 4 2006.
Every year the Colorado Rapids Community Care Foundation hosts the club's Kickoff Luncheon. Proceeds from the event benefit the Rapids Foundation which supports underserved youth by providing assistance for educational and recreational programs and field-building initiatives in our local Colorado community.
The Kickoff Luncheon will be part of the Rapids' annual "Rapids Week" tradition which features different events every day in the week leading up to the Rapids' home opener taking place this year on Saturday April 8 at Invesco Field. Details on the other events of Rapids Week 2006 will be released in the near future.
On Tuesday April 4th from noon-1:30pm the Rapids Foundation will host the 7th Annual Colorado Rapids Kickoff Luncheon. The Kickoff Luncheon gives fans and clients their first chance to meet the new Colorado Rapids players on the roster (organizations that buy a table get to have a Rapids player sit with them throughout the event!) and hear from Head Coach Fernando Clavijo himself as he shares the team’s goals for the season all while enjoying a sumptuous meal at the Pepsi Center's Ridgeline Restaurant.
Part of this year's luncheon will also include an exclusive inside look into the progress of construction on the new Rapids soccer-specific stadium due to open in a year's time.
Individual tickets for the Kickoff Luncheon are $65 for adults and $30 for children. Corporate Tables are also available at $500 which includes a Colorado Rapids player or coach joining the 7 guests at your table!
