Two Colorado Kids Win All-Expense Paid Trip to MLS Cup for National DPS Finals

ColoradoRapids.com - The Colorado Rapids announced today that local kids Gabby Gonzales of Centennial and Blake Dickerson of Lonetree have advanced to the Sierra Mist Dribble Pass & Score National Championships taking place at the MLS Cup at the Home Depot Center on Nov. 14.

Gabby took first place in the 12-14 year old age group and Blake took first place in the 8-9 year old age group at the Sierra Mist Colorado Rapids DPS Team Championship held prior to the Rapids home game on October 2.

All Team Championship winners’ scores were compared from each MLS market. Gabby and Blake finished in the top four in the nation in their respective age groups and will represent the state of Colorado as they join 22 participants from across the USA in the final competition on Saturday November 13 as part of the festivities leading up to MLS Cup 2004.

Gabby and Blake both won an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles to compete in the competition as well as tickets to the MLS Cup match itself!
