After the Rapids 2-0 win over Columbus on opening day - in the coaching debut of Oscar Pareja - team captain Pablo Mastroeni brought Pareja in the locker room and presented him the game-winning ball on behalf of the entire team.
"The first one is white," said Mastroeni of the ball. "At the end of the year it's going to be silver."
