LaBaeux expected to miss 4-6 week following surgery
Third year midfielder underwent successful sports hernia surgery

Commerce City, Colo. - April 27, 2012 - Colorado Rapids midfielder Ross LaBauex underwent successful surgery this week to repair a sports hernia. The procedure was performed by Dr. Michael Napierkowski at Rocky Mountain Surgical, and the midfielder is expected to miss approximately 4-6 weeks while he recovers from the procedure. LaBauex, who was drafted by the Rapids in 201o out of the University of Virginia, has made two appearances (one start) this season, and 18 appearances (six starts) in his MLS career.
