Commerce City, Colo. - Forward Edu had x-rays taken of his right foot this week after returning home from Salt Lake in pain. The team's head athletic trainer, Jaime Rojas, told ColoradoRapids.com that the x-rays did not reveal any fractures, and that Edu will be listed as Questionable on the weekend Injury Report with a right foot contusion that will be evaluated daily.

The Brazilian appeared to injure his right foot on a shot in the 28th minute of the match. RSL defenders Jamison Olave and Chris Wingert closed in quickly as Edu was approaching the penalty area just right of the arc. Edu attempted to hit the ball as it came, but made contact at full extension a split second after Wingert had reached the ball to block it. After being attended to by Rojas on the sideline, Edu returned to the field until he was replaced by Brian Mullan in the 56th minute.

The veteran of Spain's La Liga has started three of nine regular season and scored one goal in two Open Cup matches.
