Pickens could join Rapids century club on Saturday
Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Matt Pickens is on the verge of reaching another team milestone, and hopefully passing yet another.
If Pickens starts on Saturday against Seattle, as is expected, he will become just the 13th player in Colorado Rapids history to appear in 100 regular season matches. He will also become just the 9th to start 100 career games.
And, should the Rapids come out victorious with Pickens in goal, he will earn his 40th career win with Colorado, passing Marcus Hahnemman for most career goalkeeper wins in club history. Hahnemann's mark was established from 1997-1999, and includes six wins via the shoot out.
Earlier this year Pickens passes Joe Cannon for most career club shutouts and now has 27 all-time clean sheets with the Rapids.
