Commerce Ciy, Colo. - Midfielder Brian Mullan was a late scratch to the travel roster that went to Vancouver to face the Whitecaps Sunday afternoon after straining his left hamsting during Friday's training session. The club listed the veteran as questionable and in the end, he did not make the trip to Canada.

Mullan has scored two goals and added seven assists in the 27 games in which he's appeared. The seven assists are the most in one season for Mullan since tallying eight while with the San Jose Earthquakes in 2004.

Also staying behind was rookie winger Tony Cascio, who continues to recover from a sprained left ankle suffered last week in LA against the Galaxy.
