U.S. WNT to hold open training Tuesday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park

Gold Medal winners practice inside stadium from 4:30-5:30 is free and open to public

The United States Women’s National Team will hold an open training session at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, which is open to all fans interested in attending. The team, with stars including Abby Wambach, Hope Solo and Alex Morgan, will train for roughly an hour on the stadium field, with fans entering through Gate B.

The Gold Medal-winning U.S. Women’s National Team will face Australia this Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park at 8 p.m. MT. The match is part of the Fan Tribute Tour after the team won gold in the London Olympics this summer, and is also Pia Sundhage’s final match as head coach of the squad. The U.S. Women faced Australia on Sunday, Sept. 16 at The Home Depot Center where the USA came from behind to earn a 2-1 victory.
