“With the snowstorm that is predicted to hit Denver this Saturday, the Rapids are preparing for a memorable match against Philadelphia Union, kicking off as planned at 4 p.m. MT. Commerce City and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park staff will work to clear roads and walkways while the best grounds crew in MLS prepares our superb playing surface. We will maintain close contact with local authorities, Major League Soccer staff, representatives from both clubs and match officials to determine the best course of action, but we plan to play through the snowstorm on Saturday.”

Should anything change as a result of our ongoing discussions, we will announce via press release, at www.ColoradoRapids.com, www.facebook.com/ColoradoRapids, and www.twitter.com/ColoradoRapids, as well as phone calls to our Season Ticket Holders, Group ticket buyers, and as many single-game purchasers as we can reach.“
