Eyes on Colorado for USMNT match vs Costa Rica

Eyes from across the country and world will be on Colorado on Friday when the U.S. host Costa Rica in a World Cup Qualifier at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
A member of U.S. Soccer's communication staff informed ColoradoRapids.com that over 300 media members have been credentialed to cover the crucial match, including outlets from Costa Rica, Mexico, and Germany.
In addition, national soccer journalists - including The Washington Post, NY Times, ESPN The Magazine, Sports Illustrated, NBC Sports, Sporting News, Reuters, Soccer By Ives, MLSSoccer.com, and others have already made their way to Colorado to cover the last days of training.
U.S. Soccer also said Thursday's that more than 2,000 American Outlaws supporters will be at the match - marking the most that's ever assembled for a USMNT match in the U.S. - and will take up four sections on the south end of the stadium. It's been reported that fans from at least 41 states purchased tickets to Friday's match.
In addition, fans from club teams in 13 different countries from which players from both the U.S. and Costa Rica teams play will be attentive. The two teams' rosters feature players that play professional and flew in from England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Norway, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, as well as Costa Rica and throughout the U.S.
US Soccer is hosting a Pep Rally at the Paramount Theatre on Thursday night and the Outlaws have planned various activities around town ahead of the match.
