Oscar Pareja got some good news on the injury front this week.

Captain Pablo Mastroeni, who came off in the 8th minute against Philadelphia on March 10 with a left hamstring strain - that also forced him to miss the match at Salt Lake - is back to full training.

"It's feeling a lot better," Mastroeni told ColoradoRapids.com of his hamstring after Wednesday's training. "Everyday just doing a little bit more and cautiously optimistic for the weekend."

Mastroeni is hoping to be available when the Rapids play the LA Galaxy at the Home Depot Center on Saturday (8:30 p.m. MT, Altitude).

Coach Oscar Pareja is also optimistic.

"I was very happy to have Pablo available early in the week and that he was able to do almost everything at training," Pareja said on Wednesday. "Today he was involved in the action and he responded well. I'm really happy with what I've seen and we still have three days before the game."
