NEW YORK (March 28, 2013) – The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Colorado Rapids defender Drew Moor one additional game and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct away from the play that endangered the safety of his opponent. In the 48th minute of the March 24 game, Moor’s arm made contact with the face of LA Galaxy midfielder Marcelo Sarvas (watch below). The referee issued Moor a red card, which carries an automatic one game suspension and fine. Moor will serve a total suspension of two games – Saturday against Portland Timbers and Friday, April 6 against Real Salt Lake.

Moor addressed the incident on MLSSoccer.com following the match, saying, "I let my team down tonight...I’m disappointed in myself. That’s not me. That’s not who I am and that’s not what this club and organization is about.”
