Harbottle out 4-6 weeks with left knee sprain

Chilean winger started first four matches before injuring knee at training last Friday

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Thursday, March 28, 2013) – Colorado Rapids attacking midfielder Kevin Harbottle will miss 4-6 weeks with a sprained left knee suffered in training last Friday. An MRI on Tuesday confirmed the initial diagnosis, and the midfielder has already begun rehabilitation for the injury. Harbottle, 22, joined Colorado in the offseason and started each of the Rapids first four matches of 2013.

The Rapids face off against Real Salt Lake this Saturday, April 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the second Subaru Rocky Mountain Cup match of 2013, with Colorado having already earned a 1-1 draw in Salt Lake on March 16.
