Another game, another injury.

Colorado Rapids midfielder Hendry Thomas strained his left hamstring in the second half against Houston and was forced out of the match. Nathan Sturgis replaced the Honduran in the 52' minute.

Thomas' injury is the latest to hit the club. Edson Buddle, Deshorn Brown, Kevin Harbottle, Diego Calderon, Jaime Castrillon, Marvell Wynne, and Matt Pickens all missed the match with injuries.

Thomas, Brian Mullan and Dillon Powers are the only players to start all nine matches for the Rapids this season. Thomas will be further evaluated upon this return to Colorado with the team on Monday.

The Rapids had another injury scare late in the match when midfielder Jamie Smith was attended to after going down following a shot at the top of the box. Smith was able to walk off on his own terms but was replaced by Pablo Mastroeni - who was making his first appearance since March 16 when he injured his right quad. Martin Rivero also returned from a broken foot on Sunday to make his 2013 debut as a second half substitute.
