Atiba Harris following win: "We’re all on the same page"

Forward's extra work at training paid off as he scored his second game-winner

Colorado Rapids Forward Atiba Harris following the team's 2-0 home win over Chivas USA:

On the play leading up to his goal:
"I saw [Chris] Klute overlapping and someone played it through to him. So I was just trying to get into the box and he played an early cross and I happened to finish it."

On what his mindset was today:
"It’s just like determination. Anytime the ball is played forward I try to make myself available. Oscar has been stressing this whole week to have numbers in the box and I’m just trying to make myself available."

On the atmosphere within the team:
"I think unity. I think we’re all on the same page and we know whoever steps into the game, we know exactly what to do. It’s not going to take a long time for anyone to adjust because Oscar has been constantly changing stuff in training and the result is that everyone’s working hard for each other."

On not finishing some chances in previous games:
"You know what, at training yesterday, I decided “something’s got to change.” So I stayed back probably an hour just finishing with Edson [Buddle] and Danny [Mwanga]. I was just trying to change my luck, you know. And it went in today and hopefully they’ll keep going in."
