The Club at Pradera will host fourth annual tournament benefitting Kroenke Sports Charities

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Friday, June 28, 2013) – The Colorado Rapids will host the club’s fourth annual Charity Classic, a golf tournament with Rapids players and coaches on Monday, August 19 at The Club at Pradera in Parker, Colo. The scramble-style tournament starts at 9 a.m. and is open to individual players and foursomes, with all proceeds from the event benefitting Kroenke Sports Charities.

“The Charity Classic is an opportunity for fans to have fun, meet the team, and raise money for a noble cause,” said Rapids President Tim Hinchey. “We work to make this tournament better every year, and we are proud that The Club at Pradera and their professional staff help make this tournament memorable. We hope to see many of our fans, partners, and community members out on the course.”

The tournament is limited to a maximum of 36 foursomes, and those interested in participating can register by visiting clicking here, contacting Heather Garcia of the Kroenke Sports and Entertainment Community Relations department at hgarcia@pepsicenter.com or 303-405-1166, or at Rapids games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
