The signing of forward Vicente Sanchez seems to have come at an opportune time for the Colorado Rapids.

Forwards Edson Buddle and Atiba Harris did not participate in the team's outdoor training session on Wednesday morning with respective ailments.

"Edson and Atiba are in the (treatment room) being taken care of," Pareja told the media after the workout. "It's still early in the week, but you know me, I'm just counting on the players that are on the training ground. That's the way it has been and it's not going to change. So at this point, today, Wednesday, I just see the guys that are training and tomorrow we'll see."

Pareja confirmed that both players left the match against Real Salt Lake with injuries. Harris was replaced in the 35' by Tony Cascio after sustaining a right quad injury and Buddle was replaced by Danny Mwanga in the 56' after grabbing his left hamstring.

Pareja said that the potential absence of Buddle or Harris for Sunday's match at Chivas USA could present a challenge, but that the newly-signed Sanchez "is in the equation," pending receipt of his visa.

Coach also confirmed that both Nick LaBrocca, who missed the match against RSL with a groin issue suffered while playing against the LA Galaxy on July 27, and Martin Rivero, who has not played since June 19 due to a quad strain, are training fully and also options for Sunday's match.
