That was quick: Sanchez received P-1 visa and ITC, eligible to play immediately
When things are going well, things are going well.
Just two days after officially signing with the Colorado Rapids, Uruguayan forward Vicente Sanchez has received all the necessary documents and is eligible to play immediately, team president Tim Hinchey announced on twitter.

Sanchez received his P-1 visa late on Wednesday and the International Transfer Certificate was received at MLS headquarters on Thursday morning.
Colorado head coach Oscar Pareja said on Wednesday that he expected Sanchez to make his MLS debut Sunday should he be eligible.
"He had an extra session (Tuesday) and is looking good, so I'm very positive and optimistic to count on him," Pareja said this week. "It may be from the bench, but we'll see."
The Rapids will travel to California on Saturday afternoon ahead of Sunday's match against Chivas USA (live on Altitude TV at 9 p.m. MT). The Centennial 38 Supporters Group will be hosting the official viewing party at the British Bulldog, where fans will also be able to see the recently won Subaru Rocky Mountain Cup.
