Chasing 100: Edson Buddle scores #97

Forward could become just the eighth player in MLS history to score 100 regular season goals

Colorado Rapids forward Edson Buddle is now three goals away from becoming just the eighth player in MLS history to score 100 regular season goals. Acquired in the offseason, Buddle has four goals in his first year with the Rapids - three of which were scored after he entered the match as a second half substitute, including one in each of the past two games.

Buddle's next chance to add to his tally is Saturday, September 7 when he and the Rapids visit the LA Galaxy (8:30 p.m. MT, Altitude TV).
