Colorado Rapids forward Deshorn Brown following the 3-0 loss at Vancouver:

Thoughts on the match:
“I really don’t know what happened; we came in with the mentality of winning and trying to get a home game in the playoffs but it didn’t work in our favour tonight. We have to take this as a learning process and get ready for the game on Wednesday whether we go to Seattle or LA. We have to set our minds and get ready for the playoffs.”

On the preparation for the playoff match:
“First, we have to work on our habits. We have to continue working hard on the field. We’re going to go home and sharpen some stuff up. We just have to work hard as a team; whichever team comes, we just have to be ready to fight for the MLS Cup.”

On leading Colorado in goals this year:
“It’s a great feeling. That was my aim coming in. I really appreciate Oscar for giving me the playing time for the Rapids. I just take the opportunity I get and do my best. Even though my aim was to get the rookie record, I guess that didn’t work in my favour. I’m going to hold my head high and push forward from here.”

On his fellow rookie, Kekuta Manneh:
“He’s a great guy, I met him in the MLS draft in Florida. He had a wonderful season as well. I’m trying to do my thing, and I’m sure he was trying to do his thing as well. I’m just trying to put my name out there and show the world I can play.”
