MLSsoccer.com editors has given the Colorado Rapids lots of love lately.

From a collection of editors calling Dillon Powers the MLS Rookie of the Year, to including Oscar Pareja among the top Coaches of the Year, and even defender Chris Klute as a top candidate for Major League Soccer's best defender of 2013.

Jonah Freedman put the rest of the League on notice, calling the Rapids "by far the most terrifying team" in the playoffs.

Freedman references New York Red Bulls midfielder Dax McCarty, who told MLSsoccer.com's March to the Match podcast, "You definitely don’t want to be facing (Colorado) if you’re in the West. I think they’re really dangerous.”

The managing editor remarks on the outstanding collection of talent that has helped Colorado to its current place in the standings, including the budding offensive duo of Deshorn Brown and Gabriel Torres.

But he also points out the terrific work the team has done on the defensive end, noting that:

"In a one-off game or a two-legged series, these Rapids are more than capable of pulling an upset. But that defense? Well, they say that wins championships."
