AT&T MLS Goal of the Week: twist and turn from Powers gets noticed

Rapids midfielder among the five nominees with his strike against Vancouver Whitecaps

Dillon Powers' third goal of the season - the opener against Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday - is among the nominees for the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week.

Having received a deflected Marvell Wynne cross, the 2013 MLS Rookie of the Year swiftly turned Russell Teibert and clinically finished beyond David Ousted.

Other players in contention for Week 16 honors are Jack McInerney, Erick Torres, Gilberto and Danny Cruz

You get to choose the Goal of the Week, so make your pick by casting a ballot for Powers before voting ends! The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
