Dillon Serna suspended for next MLS match
NEW YORK – The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Colorado Rapids midfielder Dillon Serna one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for serious foul play that endangered the safety of FC Dallas midfielder Victor Ulloa in the 18th minute of the game on June 7 (VIDEO).
Serna, a Homegrown Player from Brighton, Colo., has appeared in 12 matches this season, starting eight, and scored his first professional goal on April 26 in Seattle.
The Colorado Rapids are currently on a break in the MLS schedule during the first two weeks of the World Cup, and next play Orlando City SC of the USL Pro in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, June 17 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Tickets to the match are available by clicking here.
