To enhance the already unique experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, the Colorado Rapids have implemented a family-friendly area just outside of Eighteen76 called SoccerFest.

SoccerFest is a collection of games and entertainment for kids and parents to enjoy before Rapids matches. The area features two soccer inflatables, a DJ, and a face-painting station. The inflatables include a soccer field and shot challenge, which give kids the opportunity to test their soccer skills.

“We hope that SoccerFest will continue to improve the gameday experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, giving fans an extra event for when they come out to the match,” said Rapids director of marketing Wayne Brant.

“The area to the south of our stadium is becoming a destination on the day of games, with the Eighteen76 bar, the Centennial 38 pregame tailgate and now SoccerFest as well.”

While kids enjoy the fun and games outside, parents are free to head into Eighteen76 to grab a beer. The Colorado Rapids Street Team presented by Rocky Mountain Health Plans is on hand to ensure the event is safe and fun for everyone.

SoccerFest opens three hours prior to each Rapids home game. We hope to see you there!
