On Sunday, February 26th, the Colorado Rapids in partnership with the Colorado Black Health Collaborative and Project Helping hosted a clinic for families and children of the Aurora, Colorado area to engage in soccer activities with Rapids Youth Club Coaches, Rapids 2 and Academy players, and Rapid Man.
At this event, we were able to distribute mental health kits from Project Helping to all participants to show the importance of both physical and mental wellness through sport and connect further with Denver’s Black community.
