·          Joins the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club after professional international experience in France and England.

·          Has made 15 appearances for the Guadeloupe National team since 2007.

 

OTHER PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

·          Began his professional career in the French Ligue 2, first with Amiens SC from 2002-2003, and then Stade de Reims from 2003-2007. During his time with Stade de Reims, the team was promoted from the third division to the second.

·          In 2008 he made the move to English football and played for Swindon Town for the 2007-08 season, where he was honored as Player of the Year, and Cardiff City in the Football League Championship from 2008-2011. His most recent club was Southend United in England's League Two where he played until May of 2011.

 

NATIONAL TEAM

·          Comminges has made 15 appearances for Les Gwada Boys.

·          His first caps were in 2007 during the CONCACAF Gold Cup when the team finished third. He has participated in the tournament with Guadeloupe during the 2009 and 2011 editions as well.

·          Originally from Guadeloupe, a Caribbean island that is an overseas region of France

·          Was born in Les Abymes but raised in Petit Canal, Guadeloupe with three brothers by his mother, Jeanne, and father Jerome.

·          First played organized soccer when he was seven, but had been playing for years in the streets with local children.
