The Rapids go to LA carrying a one-goal advantage having won the first game in Denver last Friday 1-0 off a goal from Jean Philippe Peguero.
The match will be broadcast live in Colorado at 8:00pm MT on Saturday night on both Altitude and Fox Sports World.
The winner of the Semifinal series is determined by overall goal differential. Therefore the Rapids need only a tie or win to advance to the Conference Championship match whereas LA would need to win the game 1-0 just to tie the series.
If Los Angeles is able to tie the series in overall goals on Saturday the game will go into an immediate 30-minute sudden-death overtime period (two-15 minute halves). If the teams are tied in total goals at the end of the 30-minute overtime the game will be decided by penalty kicks according to FIFA regulations. Either way the winner of this Western Conference Semifinal series will be determined on Saturday.
Should the Rapids advance tie or win in Saturday night's match and the San Jose Earthquakes also tie or win in their match vs. Kansas City on Saturday night the Rapids would host the Western Conference Championship on Friday Nov. 5 at 7:30pm at INVESCO Field at Mile High. Tickets for this match would go on sale this coming Monday Nov. 1 at 10:00am.
Should the Rapids advance and Kansas City best San Jose in their series the Rapids would travel to Arrowhead Stadium on Sat. Nov. 6 for the Conference Final. Check back here on Monday as ColoradoRapids.com brings you the latest playoff information!
