COMMERCE CITY CO (ColoradoRapids.com) - The Colorado Rapids will take on the Rapids U-23 team tonight in an exhibition match scheduled to start at 5pm at Pleasant View Soccer Complex in Boulder Colorado.
The Rapids and the Rapids U-23's have squared off on seven occasions in history and this will be their second enounter of 2007. On June 20 of this year the Rapids defeated the Rapids U-23's by the score of 2-1.
The Rapids' only loss in recent years to the U-23's came in 2003 when they were defeated by the PDL side 1-0.
Tickets for the game are available at the entrance to the Pleasant View soccer complex and are $5 for children ages 5-15 and $10 for adults. Children under 5 years of age get in for free.

The Colorado Rapids U-23 squad formerly the Boulder Rapids Reserve are in their seventh year of existence and compete in the Premier Development League (PDL) of the United Soccer Leagues (USL). The PDL was established as an opportunity for college players to compete in a professional atmosphere without forfeiting their collegiate eligibility or amateur status. The team is a member of the highly-competitive Heartland Division. The Colorado Rapids U-23 are 2 time Central Conference Champions and National Finalists.
