Rapids to Host 'Passback' Night on Sept. 3; Bring Your New/Used Soccer Equipment to Help Needy Kids!Rapids to Collect New or Used Soccer Clothing and Equipment at Next Home Game!ColoradoRapids.com - The Colorado Rapids have announced plans to hold the club's annual US Soccer Foundation Passback equipment donation program at the Rapids game on Saturday September 3rd!The Rapids' Passback Program is an equipment drive that will benefit underserved kids in local soccer associations in Colorado through the sponsorship of the US Soccer Foundation. The Colorado Rapids are also competing in the U.S. Soccer Foundation/MLS Team Passback Challenge to see which MLS club can collect the most new and gently-used soccer equipment. Clean out your closets basements and garages (or better yet get your entire team or club to gather all your new or gently-used gear!) and bring what you can collect to the Rapids' home game on Saturday September 3rd! Help the Colorado Rapids aid needy kids around Colorado by bringing your new and/or used soccer equipment to INVESCO Field at Mile High and dropping the items off in the giant blue bins outside the south end of the stadium! Appropriate items include cleats shorts jerseys socks shin guards soccer balls nets and any other soccer-related items!As an added incentive the Colorado Rapids will be giving the chance to win two 2005 Colorado Rapids 2005 team-autographed soccer balls to all fans who donate to the drive!
